Arts Within Reach

The arts have the power to teach, inspire, unify, and truly transform individuals of all ages and backgrounds. We believe that there should be no barriers to the arts—social, economic, or physical. We created Arts Within Reach to ensure that every person can experience the magic of live performance at Wharton Center.

Contributions to Arts Within Reach:

• Cover ticket costs for all K–12 students to attend school day matinees and subsidize transportation expenses
• Support MSU students attending events
• Provide scholarships for students to participate in our arts education programs
• Welcome economically challenged children and families to shows
• Support families attending our Sensory-Friendly Performances
• Build awareness of our accessibility services.

Every Gift Makes a Positive Impact

During the 2022–2023 season, donors to Arts Within Reach helped to welcome nearly 8,500 students from 52 different schools to Act One School Series performances, including Mummenschanz, Ugly Duckling, and Black Violin. Their generous support also allowed Wharton Center to distribute over 2,600 complimentary tickets to 44 different community organizations. Thank you for your contributions!
