Manderscheid Graduate School Discretionary Endowment

Established by longtime Spartan educator and leader Lester V. Manderscheid, The Manderscheid Graduate School Discretionary Endowment is a flexible fund that can be used at the discretion of the Dean of the Graduate School towards a variety of initiatives, including professional development opportunities, graduate programs, graduate school fellowships, or other urgent needs.

Dr. Manderscheid played many roles at Michigan State University over the course of his 50-plus year career, including as departmental chair and member of numerous leadership committees, but his underlying passion was always teaching and student success. His work directly contributed to the growth of the Graduate School and its University Fellowship Program.

Give to the Manderscheid Endowment and provide support wherever it is needed.

This endowment furthers Dr. Manderscheid’s legacy by providing critical funding wherever it is most needed. We encourage and deeply appreciate any contributions that will go towards furthering the success of both graduate students and programs at Michigan State University.
