JMC Experiential and Engaged Opportunities for Students
At James Madison College, we believe that some of the most transformative learning happens outside the classroom. Through opportunities like study away and study abroad programs, unpaid/low paid internships, undergraduate research and community service learning, Madison students apply their knowledge, honing the skills they’ll need to succeed in their future endeavors. But for many students, the financial burden of participating in these programs — from tuition, travel and housing to research costs — can be a significant barrier. Your support can help change that.
By contributing to JMC’s Experiential Learning Fund, you can help alleviate financial barriers and ensure that every student can benefit from these critical programs. Your donation will directly support students who wish to engage in internships, study abroad and leadership development opportunities — experiences that will shape their futures and help them succeed in careers of public service and leadership.
Open Doors to Transformative Experiences
Whether it's working on policy analysis in Washington, D.C., conducting research on critical global issues or interning with a non-profit, your donation empowers students to take part in experiences that will shape their careers — and the world. Funds help cover tuition, travel, housing and other expenses for students who need financial support. Your gifts ensure that all Madisonians, regardless of their financial background, can participate in field experiences and internships that are central to their JMC education.
