Broad Undergraduate Student Wellness

The Broad Care Center was created to ensure no Broad student has to choose between meeting basic needs and succeeding academically. In its first year, students visited more than 250 times for free access to food, hygiene essentials, menstrual products, and household items—resources that are often out of reach for students facing unexpected financial strain, including many off-campus and international students. On average, it costs the Center about $20 to support the average visit with essential care items, providing immediate, practical support that reduces hardship and strengthens student well-being. By filling these critical gaps, the Care Center helps students stay focused, stay enrolled, and ultimately thrive.

Your support funds the essential items students rely on—quick meals, hygiene supplies, menstrual products, and household necessities. Our goal of $8,000 will provide 400 student visits, each covered for just $20. Every contribution helps ensure Spartans can access what they need with dignity, stability, and care, allowing them to stay focused and thrive academically.
