STRIDE Center

The Services, Training, and Research for Independence and Desired Employment (STRIDE) Center at MSU is dedicated to supporting and training individuals with disabilities looking for jobs. STRIDE aims to reduce or eliminate barriers to employment by offering resources and training for community independence.

Under the leadership of Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education (CEPSE) scholars Connie Sung and Marisa Fisher STRIDE offers training for service providers through internship and practicum placements. STRIDE’s mission is to become a center of excellence for disabled individuals transitioning from school to work.

Together, we STRIDE towards a more inclusive and empowered future for individuals with disabilities.
