CANR Whole Student Success Fund

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) is home to a vibrant community of over 4,000 talented students across our 12 academic units. No student experience at CANR is the same and the road to success is not always smooth. The CANR Whole Student Success Fund was created to provide direct, time-sensitive support to students dealing with emergency situations, food or housing insecurity, urgent financial challenges or other roadblocks on the path to graduation.

CANR students are the next generation of leaders and innovators. Support them today by making a gift to the CANR Whole Student Success Fund!

Contributions from the CANR community provide essential resources to support students in need. Gifts directly help students overcome common challenges, such as:

  • The rising cost of textbooks, averaging $100–$150, is a significant obstacle. The Whole Student Success Fund can help ease this burden, ensuring students have access to the resources they need to succeed.

  • $250 can help students experiencing food insecurity cover the cost of groceries for a month.

  • Less than $1,000 can assist a student facing temporary housing insecurity due to job loss or financial struggles.

  • Offsetting the cost of publication fees can be a huge difference maker for graduate students that need to publish research to take the next step in their education or career, but those fees can range from $2,500–$10,000+ per publication.
